NARROW DOUBLE BRACKETS
AND FORK ENDS WITH MICRO BOSSES

© Mike Dennis 2003

The double brackets shown below were bent from narrow strips using the Mini bender and the Boss (lower right) is another of my developments.

Basically it is a dual purpose Ø5/16" rod socket which can have either a 3/32" Ø 4.1mm or threaded bore.  It is fitted with an 8 B.A. grub screw.

Threaded versions can also be made for the 8 B.A. Micro rod system.

The top left (Long) Fork end is shown fitted with the removable boss/rod socket.

The top right is a short narrow double angle bracket which can be used traditionally or fitted with the boss.

The lower long fork end is fitted with a permanent version of the boss. This one has a Meccano axle size hole in the socket.
